For me as I mentioned in another thread, I only enjoyed Plastic Man and Wonder Woman in the Golden Age. It got me wondering if anyone else only truly enjoyed certain Eras for characters depending on the title.
Superman has great points throughout his history until the late 90s, with Post Crisis (when I started seriously collecting/never missing an issue) being my favorite.
Batman it's BA, miles ahead of any other Era of Batman for me.
Legion of Superheroes even more than Superman, I go from the start till the End of Giffens run. Even the bad issues are part of it's amazingly self contained for a DC comic history.
Justice League is pretty spotty, Satellite Era, Post Crisis, ends with Superman and the Justice League Doomsday stuff.
Green Lantern is SA for me, but I enjoyed Green Lantern Corps by Englehart (when I started reading it as a kid), and John's work on the title plus random issues here or there.
Flash is SA mostly for John Broome and Post Crisis till the end of Messner-Loeb's run, but there is a lot of BA I missed and hope we get DC Finest volumes of so I can read them cheaply.
Teen Titans it's mainly the George Perez run so a little Pre and a little Post Crisis. I've read other issues, I love me some Nick Cardy art, but the highpoint of New Teen Titans with Perez art is really where my heart is for the title. Never gonna reach those heights again, the issues I read without him are mainly because I have bought an incalculable number of comic books.
I guess that covers the main DC books. Depending on the character my favorite era spreads across Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Post Crisis. I have often heard it's the era you start reading as a kid that is pretty universally peoples favorite, but it's defiantly not the case for me thanks to reprints and digital comics.
