Time to journey back to July of 1974… images of John Denver, Charles Bronson, Rodney Dangerfield and Jimmy Connors flash before our eyes as DC gives us final glimpses of Manhunter and Iron Wolf!
 

News of the Month:
 
1st - General Augusto Pinochet becomes president and dictator of Chile
 
1st - Isabel Perón becomes the first woman to be designated the president of a nation, being sworn in as President of Argentina after the death of her husband, Juan Perón, at the age of 78
 
5th - Chris Evert wins her first Wimbledon title beating Russian Olga Morzova 6-0, 6-4
 
7th - Striker Gerd Müller scores 43rd minute winner as West Germany beats the Netherlands, 2-1 in FIFA World Cup Final
 
17th - Bob Gibson of the St. Louis Cardinals becomes the first player in National League history, and only the second in Major League Baseball, to strike out 3,000 batters in his career
 
20th - Five days after Greek Cypriot activists overthrew the government of Cyprus, armed forces from Turkey carry out a massive invasion and occupation by land, sea and air of the northern portion of the island republic
 
21st - House Judiciary approves two Articles of Impeachment against President Richard Nixon
 
24th - Supreme Court unanimously rules Nixon must turn over Watergate tapes
 
29th – Cass Elliot of the Mamas & the Papas dies of a heart attack in London at age 32
