On the eve of DC's ambitious new reprint line, DC Finest, I've been thinking a lot about their previous line, Showcase Presents. Especially since I just recently finished my own run of the 124 books. Posted some stuff over here about the line and on some topics I may or may not follow up on in future posts

As Charlie Brown would say, what a beautiful, gory layout

I'd be curious about any thoughts on the line. What are the highlights? What are the questionable choices? What's the biggest omission? I know about a few production errors, but I'm sure there are some I missed. Why did the line limp to a finish after a few active years? Was two books a month a mistake?
