Never been a Scooby-Doo fan, that was more my kids’ thing for awhile. Let’s just say I went for a period with them where I just tolerated it.
But I will have to say that in watching Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too on Max that it was the most fun I’ve had watching a DC (DC-related really in this case) in quite some time. There are so many references, in-jokes, and sight gags about DC and its characters from ages past it was a joy to see. I’m not sure if it’s as fun if one is not familiar with DC and DC character history, but for those of you who have been around DC for many years you’ll love the movie for that reason. You do have to pay attention, because some of it comes fast and furiously, especially in the first third of the movie. If you’re a longtime fan or DC history buff, give this a watch!
